The London Knights will be facing elimination on Thursday night. The Knights are now trailing 3-0 in a best of seven series to the Owen Sound Attack. The Attack came out flying in the first period as they scored their first goal on their second shot of the game. The knights had no answer until Sergey Popov sniped one top corner on the Attack goaltender midway through the second period. It did not take long for the Attack to answer back as Brett Mackenzie scored his second of the game and finished with a total of four points including an assist on the game winning goal. Tyler Rollo and Captain Evan Bouchard of the London Knights each had a goal tonight. Bouchard netted the game tying goal that sent the Knights into overtime, but it was not a long one as the game winning goal was scored 33 seconds into the extra frame. Tyler Rollo and Evan Bouchard were both on the same page after the game, and both stated “we are not out of it, we can definitely bounce back, and we will be ready for Thursday night”. The knights were out-shot 40-26. With that said the Knights will have to bring it and put it all on the table if they want to keep their playoff hopes alive.
