The immersive art exhibit making international headlines is coming to 100 Kellogg Lane this fall.
Presented by Encore Productions, the exhibit features 200 of artist Vincent Van Gogh’s paintings. The local venue stated that “the exhibit will bring Van Gogh’s canvases to life in a vivid, spectacular way.”
Imagine Van Gogh was first displayed in France and has gone on to tour worldwide with recent stops in Edmonton and Vancouver extending their stay due to popular demand.
“The creators, Annabelle Mauger and Julien Baron, have been working on this exhibition for quite a few years,” says Angela Di Corpo, Chief Concert Logistics Manager for Garber International Management Consultants. “When it came to Quebec City, that’s when my boss and I decided we wanted to bring it across Canada.”
DJ Williams of Corus Radio London has been working to bring this exhibit to 100 Kellogg Lane.
“A longtime friend of mine is an agent for touring shows and has been working with the production, Imagine Van Gogh, for a couple of years,” says Williams. “I told him that there’s a really great venue in London that’s making a really big statement in the entertainment world and I think the show would fit.”
Complete in a 25,000 square foot room with 25 foot ceilings, Williams highlights the emotion behind the art.
“Before you go into the big grand room, you go through the education room where you have an opportunity to read and learn about all aspects of Vincent Van Gogh’s life. The beautiful moments, and some of the dark moments leading up to the premature demise of the man who left behind some amazing work.”
“So before you walk into the big exhibit, and are overwhelmed with the sound and the visuals, you have a much better understanding of the man, his history, and his attention to detail.”

Di Corpo adds that the education room allows for the audience to be “immersed into each brushstroke.”
“I’ve seen people cry in that room, I have seen people get engaged in that room. It’s really a magical exhibition.”
Natalie Wakabayashi is the Director of Culture and Entertainment for Tourism London and she expects that Londoners won’t only be the ones enjoying the experience.
“It’s a great tourism piece,” says Wakabayashi. “We’re really proud of our community partners that continue to raise the bar or think outside of the box about what would be great for our community.”
