This past weekend Fanshawe Falcon sports teams returned to their respective sports fields, and with more students returning to campus after the covid-19 pandemic the feeling of home court advantage is back.
Fanshawe’s Varsity Sports Information Officer Nicole Carriere said “It was a great atmosphere this past weekend, it was great to see fans in the stands, in the bleachers, in the fields, and it’s a great atmosphere for our student athletes who have missed it the last couple of years.”
There are multiple Falcon games to follow this week:
- Woman’s Soccer vs Conestoga– Thursday 6 p.m. (Away)
- Woman’s Softball – Lambton Wednesday 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. (2 Away games)
- Men’s & Woman’s Golf – St Clair Invitational – Friday (Away)
- Men’s Baseball vs Lambton – Wednesday 5:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. (HOME)
- Men’s Soccer vs Conestoga– Thursday 8 p.m. (Away)
The only home game this week is the men’s baseball doubleheader on Thursday September 15th, taking place at Lambton Field. The first game starts at 5 p.m. with the second occurring at 7:30 p.m.
