Palestinian Protest in London

There was a Palestinian protest against the War in Gaza. Protestors lined the streets between Wonderland Road and Oxford Street West. This protest took place from 2-4 Pm and was organized by the Western Diversity Coalition. Protestors held signs and waved the Palestinian flag in hopes to get public support and put pressure on the government. One of the protestors said ” We are here to form a human chain. We’re here to support the people in Gaza. We are here asking our government and asking every human being on this not just in Canada, on this earth, to stand for the rights of the Palestinian people, to exist, to end the occupation, to end the genocide and the massacre that’s going on”. Another person we spoke said this “We are in supporting, to asking for stop the genocide and what’s happening in Gaza. What starts right now in Raza is actually starts in 75 years. It’s not new”. Even though a cease fire agreement was reached between Isreal and Hamas, the conflict has continued to rage on.
