The Covent Garden Market is moving on from their indoor market, and welcoming their outdoor market. With the outdoor market on the way, vendors and customers alike are getting ready for the change. Having the outdoor market means new vendors and new products.
With a new market and new weather incoming, there will be lots of new local produce to buy. McKayla, employee at Havaris Produce, says there will be new “local peaches, local strawberries, local plums and more local lettuce”.
Along with some vendors staying for the warmer weather, there will be lots of new vendors and farmers coming in. This means more local farms selling their produce for us at the market. Some of these farms include apple, maple, berry, and root vegetable farmers selling their fresh produce.
The indoor Covent Garden Market started on February 1, and is ending April 12. The outdoor market starts April 19 and is running until June 28.
