A tragic motor vehicle collision in the city’s northeast end has claimed the life of a 49-year-old Ilderton man.
Emergency crews responded to a serious crash involving a motorcycle and another vehicle at the intersection of Highbury Avenue North and Edge valley Road around 5:30 p.m. on Monday, April 14, 2025. The driver of the motorcycle was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries and later died as a result of those injuries.
The driver of the other involved vehicle remained at the scene. The London Police Service Road Safety Section is continuing its investigation and is appealing to the public for assistance.
Police are asking anyone who may have been in the area at the time of the collision particularly those with dash-cam footage or nearby business/residential surveillance video to come forward. The investigation remains ongoing. Updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
