Virtual Reality continues to grow throughout the world in many ways. It is becoming more common in all different industries as people are using it to implement new ways of learning and training in many different scenarios. Virtual Reality and 5g are starting to work together which will hopefully then make VR headsets wireless so people can use them anywhere they want. When it gets to that point it will be used by even more people.
Virtual reality is being used for training in the medical field. Brandon Long the co-owner of Next Level VR in London said, “I work with some nurses and medics that said they have used it for training purposes before and I’ve heard that it’s being used in some surgeons training.”
There are other ways its growing throughout the industry through training but it’s also getting involved in the education side of things. Brandon from next level VR said, “We offer some courses that will teach you about history through using the VR headset.”
People are thinking of many ways to implement this. Some believe that within the next 5 years and when this is cheaper everyone will be using it in some way. Fanshawe is working with Next Level VR with their architect program as when they have the blueprint made, they are then able to walk through it virtually. This is only going to continue to grow throughout the world and all industries.
