It’s American Thanksgiving! That means two things, families are getting together to eat great food, and there is a full day of NFL Football. The games today are the Lions vs. Bears, Cowboys vs. Raiders, and Bills vs. Saints. These are all the things you need to know for this year’s Thanksgiving Day of Football.

Lions vs. Bears – 12:30 pm
The Lions enter this game without a win so far in the NFL Season. The Bears, however, are currently 3-7 behind rookie Quarterback Justin Fields. Both teams have struggled on both sides of the ball and are likely already out of the playoff race. This does not mean these teams can’t put on an exciting football game, though. Fields remains one of the most dynamic young quarterbacks in the league with how well he can move. The Bears Linebacker Khalil Mack always remains a fun player to watch as he is one of the most dominant players at his position. This game will not make any headlines, but there still should be enough involved to make for an enjoyable starter to your day.
Cowboys vs. Raiders – 4:30 pm
The Cowboys need to rebound after losing a challenging game to the Chiefs last week. The Raiders are coming off a loss to the Bengals as well. Both teams will need the win to continue their push for the playoffs later into the season. Cowboys Wide Receiver Cee Dee Lamb is set to return after a concussion kept him out. This will give Cowboys Quarterback Dak Prescott one of his favorite targets back. Raiders Quarterback Derek Carr is looking to continue his great year as he has already passed for more than 3000 yards. This game will likely be tight so expect some quality football before we get to the main event.
Bills vs. Saints – 8:20 pm
This game last year would have been the main attraction and a massive showdown. But a lot can change in a year. The Saints are now led by Trevor Siemian rather than future Hall of Famer Drew Brees. Likewise, the Bills are struggling a year after they dominated most of the league. Both teams are coming off significant losses and need to recapture that momentum. In addition, the Bills have struggled to win big games this year. This brings some unpredictability to what should be a great final game of the day for American Thanksgiving.
