After a long stretch of mandatory vaccine passports and limited capacities, the London Knights are back in front of a packed house. Tonight’s game against the Guelph Storm will be the first in a long time that feels like normal. Vaccine passports will not be required, and the arena will be at full capacity. As a result, the hype for this game could not be any more considerable.

This game will also be a good test for the Knights. The team has only managed to win two of their seven games played against the Storm this season. The Storm are also currently on a hot streak as they have scored 26 goals in their last five games. Their offense is led by right-winger Sasha Patstujov who has scored 53 points in 43 games this season.
The Knights have had a decent run in their last five but will need to shut down the red hot Storm to win. The play of the Knights can only be described as balanced. They have not scored a ton of goals but have not let in too many either. An increase in goal scoring would be nice, but if the Knights can continue to keep the puck out of the net, they will be just fine. London goalie Brett Brochu is coming off a 27 save shutout in their last game, and he will get the start in net once again tonight.
Tonight’s game will also be ‘Throwback Jersey Night.’ The Knights will be rocking classic white jerseys reminiscent of their past. It was also announced the jerseys would be getting auctioned off. The auction will take place from tonight at 7 pm until Wednesday.
